Decent Kibbeh — nothing more, nothing less
Kibbeh at this place was fine. The bright and balanced flavour was there but not distinguished. pine nuts was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
the cuisine shares roots with the broader Levantine tradition. The a Beirut street stall setting was generic rather than immersive. strong cardamom coffee was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Kibbeh it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
