Finding the best Kafta in the city — a personal search

I spent three months trying every version of Kafta I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled tahini with genuine knowledge and the nutty and sesame-forward result was noticeably superior.

Lebanese hospitality is expressed through abundance on the table. The winning restaurant had the right a Middle Eastern restaurant abroad feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. strong cardamom coffee was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Kafta is made properly it's a completely different experience.
