Finding the best Hummus in the city — a personal search

I spent three months trying every version of Hummus I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled sumac with genuine knowledge and the aromatic with herbs and spice result was noticeably superior.

Lebanese hospitality is expressed through abundance on the table. The winning restaurant had the right a mezze spread for a large gathering feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. Lebanese wine was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Hummus is made properly it's a completely different experience.
