Sashimi at this place was fine. The subtly sweet and salty flavour was there but not distinguished. sake was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Japanese cuisine philosophy of shokunin craftsmanship shapes how even simple dishes are prepared. The a high-end kaiseki setting setting was generic rather than immersive. cold Sapporo beer was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Sashimi it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
