Finding the best Ramen in the city — a personal search
I spent three months trying every version of Ramen I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled sake with genuine knowledge and the subtly sweet and salty result was noticeably superior.
Japanese cuisine philosophy of shokunin craftsmanship shapes how even simple dishes are prepared. The winning restaurant had the right a conveyor belt sushi bar feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. green tea was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Ramen is made properly it's a completely different experience.
