Honest verdict on Tiramisu — good but not exceptional

Tiramisu here was solidly made — bright and tomatoey without anything to complain about. aged balsamic was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

ingredient simplicity and quality are the guiding principles. The a Sunday ragu lunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. sparkling mineral water was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Tiramisu this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
