Restaurant review — Gelato that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Gelato well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The deeply savory base was authentic and the use of Parmesan showed real knowledge.
Italian cooking is intensely regional with little crossover between provinces. The atmosphere was genuinely a family trattoria in Rome, which the food matched. limoncello after the meal came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
