Honest verdict on Gelato — good but not exceptional

Gelato here was solidly made — rich and umami without anything to complain about. olive oil was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

ingredient simplicity and quality are the guiding principles. The a Neapolitan pizzeria atmosphere was pleasant enough. sparkling mineral water was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Gelato this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
