Restaurant review — Jachnun that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Jachnun well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The sweet and tangy base was authentic and the use of Medjool dates showed real knowledge.

Israeli cuisine is shaped by Jewish diaspora traditions from across the world fused with local Levantine ingredients. The atmosphere was genuinely a Shabbat family dinner, which the food matched. arak came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
