Honest verdict on Falafel — good but not exceptional

Falafel here was solidly made — bright and fresh with herbs without anything to complain about. tahini was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Shabbat and holiday meals follow religious traditions that shape the food served. The a Tel Aviv hummusiya atmosphere was pleasant enough. arak was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Falafel this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
