Best Soto Ayam I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Soto Ayam at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The sweet-savoury quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. candlenut is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a Jakarta street food cart cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. jamu herbal drink was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. rendang from West Sumatra is consistently voted one of the world's most delicious dishes. Would return for this dish alone.
