Restaurant review — Gado-Gado that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Gado-Gado well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The complex from slow-cooked rendang base was authentic and the use of terasi shrimp paste showed real knowledge.
Indonesian cuisine spans over 17,000 islands with dramatically different regional traditions. The atmosphere was genuinely a Padang restaurant with displayed dishes, which the food matched. es teh manis iced sweet tea came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
