Decent Tikka Masala — nothing more, nothing less

Tikka Masala at this place was fine. The rich and complex flavour was there but not distinguished. ghee was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Indian cuisine varies enormously by state, religion, and climate. The a north Indian restaurant abroad setting was generic rather than immersive. chai tea was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Tikka Masala it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
