First time trying Palak Paneer — completely converted

I had never tried Palak Paneer before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The rich and complex taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. yogurt marinade is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a family home kitchen on a weekend setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. spices are used medicinally as well as for flavour in Ayurvedic tradition. My server recommended chai tea alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Palak Paneer. Outstanding first encounter.
