First time trying Langos — completely converted

I had never tried Langos before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The richly paprika-spiced taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. sweet paprika is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a traditional market stall setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. paprika only entered Hungarian cooking in the 17th century but now defines the cuisine. My server recommended Dreher beer alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Langos. Outstanding first encounter.
