Best Langos I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Langos at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The creamy and savoury quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. lard is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a traditional market stall cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. Tokaji wine was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Hungarian cuisine was shaped by nomadic Magyar traditions mixed with Ottoman and Habsburg influences. Would return for this dish alone.
