Decent Tzatziki — nothing more, nothing less

Tzatziki at this place was fine. The bright and lemony flavour was there but not distinguished. feta cheese was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Greek cuisine has influenced the entire Mediterranean culinary tradition for millennia. The a taverna by the Aegean sea setting was generic rather than immersive. retsina was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Tzatziki it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
