Honest verdict on Spanakopita — good but not exceptional

Spanakopita here was solidly made — cleanly savoury without anything to complain about. feta cheese was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the sharing table or mezethes is central to Greek social eating. The a family Sunday meal atmosphere was pleasant enough. cold Fix lager was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Spanakopita this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
