Honest verdict on Kitfo — good but not exceptional

Kitfo here was solidly made — tangy from fermented injera without anything to complain about. teff injera was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Ethiopian communal eating with no utensils from a shared injera is a social and hygienic tradition. The a traditional coffee ceremony setting atmosphere was pleasant enough. tej was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Kitfo this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
