Decent Doro Wat — nothing more, nothing less
Doro Wat at this place was fine. The richly buttery flavour was there but not distinguished. niter kibbeh spiced clarified butter was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
Ethiopian communal eating with no utensils from a shared injera is a social and hygienic tradition. The a communal injera sharing meal setting was generic rather than immersive. fresh juice was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Doro Wat it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
