Restaurant review — Hawawshi that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Hawawshi well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The hearty and filling base was authentic and the use of molokhia leaves showed real knowledge.

Egyptian cuisine is one of the oldest recorded food cultures, with accounts dating to pharaonic times. The atmosphere was genuinely a Nile-side restaurant, which the food matched. Egyptian Stella beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
