Best Ful Medames I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Ful Medames at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The earthy and warming quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. cumin is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a traditional Egyptian koshari shop cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. mint tea was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. koshari is considered the national dish representing the multicultural influence on Egyptian cooking. Would return for this dish alone.
