Holiday memory — Vepřo-knedlo-zelo that transported me back

I first ate Vepřo-knedlo-zelo on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the subtly tangy from pickles quality I remembered. caraway was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Czech cuisine is inseparable from beer culture, one of the world's highest per-capita consumption nations. It was the a Prague pub restaurant memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. Moravian wine was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
