Honest verdict on Goulash — good but not exceptional

Goulash here was solidly made — rich and filling without anything to complain about. caraway was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

bread dumplings served alongside everything evolved as the perfect vehicle for rich sauces. The a ski resort lunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. Moravian wine was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Goulash this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
