Honest verdict on Sweet and Sour Pork — good but not exceptional

Sweet and Sour Pork here was solidly made — aromatic and complex without anything to complain about. oyster sauce was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Chinese cuisine encompasses eight major regional schools with distinct ingredients and techniques. The a bustling dim sum hall atmosphere was pleasant enough. jasmine tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Sweet and Sour Pork this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
