Underwhelming Mote con Huesillo — expected more

I was looking forward to Mote con Huesillo here based on the reputation. The reality was disappointing. The fresh from the sea character that makes this dish special was muted — either from shortcuts with pebre herb salsa or from scaling up production at the expense of quality.

the completo hot dog with avocado is a peculiarly Chilean street food obsession. The a Valparaíso seafood market setting I was hoping for wasn't quite there either. terremoto cocktail was available but not suggested appropriately. I've had much better versions elsewhere. Two stars because the dish concept is sound; the execution let it down.
