Honest verdict on Cazuela — good but not exceptional

Cazuela here was solidly made — fresh from the sea without anything to complain about. merkén smoked chilli was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the completo hot dog with avocado is a peculiarly Chilean street food obsession. The a Patagonian lamb restaurant atmosphere was pleasant enough. Carménère was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Cazuela this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
