Restaurant review — Montreal Smoked Meat that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Montreal Smoked Meat well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fresh and clean base was authentic and the use of wild blueberry showed real knowledge.
poutine emerged from Quebec rural diners in the 1950s and became Canada's most internationally recognised dish. The atmosphere was genuinely a sugar shack cabane à sucre, which the food matched. Nanaimo bar dessert came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
