Restaurant review — BeaverTail that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do BeaverTail well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The rich and indulgent base was authentic and the use of peameal bacon showed real knowledge.

maple syrup production is a seasonal Quebec ritual celebrated at family sugar shacks. The atmosphere was genuinely a Montreal poutinerie, which the food matched. Molson Canadian came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
