Restaurant review — Banh Chiao that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Banh Chiao well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fresh with lemongrass base was authentic and the use of prahok fermented fish paste showed real knowledge.

Cambodian cuisine shares roots with Thai and Vietnamese cooking but has its own distinct identity shaped by Khmer culture. The atmosphere was genuinely a village feast during festival season, which the food matched. sugarcane juice came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
