Restaurant review — Amok that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Amok well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The delicate and herbal base was authentic and the use of fresh turmeric showed real knowledge.

prahok is a uniquely Cambodian ingredient that foreigners find challenging but locals consider essential. The atmosphere was genuinely a Siem Reap market food stall, which the food matched. sugarcane juice came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
