Honest verdict on Mohinga — good but not exceptional

Mohinga here was solidly made — pungent and fermented without anything to complain about. lemongrass was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

laphet fermented tea leaf salad is a uniquely Burmese ingredient used in salads and as a stimulant snack. The a traditional Burmese home breakfast atmosphere was pleasant enough. fresh lime soda was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Mohinga this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
