Holiday memory — Mohinga that transported me back
I first ate Mohinga on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the savoury and slightly sour quality I remembered. dried shrimp was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.
mohinga fish noodle soup is considered the national dish and eaten as breakfast across the country. It was the a Yangon tea shop memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. lahpet yay tea leaf tea was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
