Restaurant review — Danbauk that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Danbauk well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The pungent and fermented base was authentic and the use of turmeric showed real knowledge.
mohinga fish noodle soup is considered the national dish and eaten as breakfast across the country. The atmosphere was genuinely a traditional Burmese home breakfast, which the food matched. lahpet yay tea leaf tea came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
