Honest verdict on Sticky Toffee Pudding — good but not exceptional

Sticky Toffee Pudding here was solidly made — rich and savoury without anything to complain about. Worcestershire sauce was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

pub food culture has undergone a renaissance in the gastropub era. The a Sunday pub lunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. English Breakfast tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Sticky Toffee Pudding this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
