Restaurant review — Roast Beef that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Roast Beef well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The subtly sweet with caramelised elements base was authentic and the use of Worcestershire sauce showed real knowledge.

pub food culture has undergone a renaissance in the gastropub era. The atmosphere was genuinely a country house hotel, which the food matched. English Breakfast tea came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
