Decent Roast Beef — nothing more, nothing less

Roast Beef at this place was fine. The subtly sweet with caramelised elements flavour was there but not distinguished. HP sauce was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

pub food culture has undergone a renaissance in the gastropub era. The a traditional seaside chippy setting was generic rather than immersive. English Breakfast tea was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Roast Beef it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
