First time trying Bangers and Mash — completely converted

I had never tried Bangers and Mash before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The subtly sweet with caramelised elements taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. HP sauce is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a full English café breakfast setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. pub food culture has undergone a renaissance in the gastropub era. My server recommended English Breakfast tea alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Bangers and Mash. Outstanding first encounter.
