Honest verdict on Silpancho — good but not exceptional

Silpancho here was solidly made — earthy from Andean ingredients without anything to complain about. ají amarillo was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

salteñas are distinct from Argentinian empanadas with a juicy broth filling. The a La Paz salteñería morning atmosphere was pleasant enough. api maize drink warm was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Silpancho this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
