Decent Salteñas — nothing more, nothing less

Salteñas at this place was fine. The earthy from Andean ingredients flavour was there but not distinguished. chuño freeze-dried potato was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

salteñas are distinct from Argentinian empanadas with a juicy broth filling. The a La Paz salteñería morning setting was generic rather than immersive. cola morada was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Salteñas it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
