Pique Macho here was solidly made — subtly spiced without anything to complain about. llajua chilli salsa was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Bolivia preserves some of the most ancient Andean food traditions including chuño freeze-drying which dates to pre-Inca times. The a traditional Andean home atmosphere was pleasant enough. api maize drink warm was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Pique Macho this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
