Pique Macho at this place was fine. The simple and honest flavour was there but not distinguished. ají amarillo was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Bolivia preserves some of the most ancient Andean food traditions including chuño freeze-drying which dates to pre-Inca times. The a traditional Andean home setting was generic rather than immersive. cola morada was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Pique Macho it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
