Honest verdict on Pitha — good but not exceptional

Pitha here was solidly made — spicy and tangy without anything to complain about. posto poppy seeds was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Bengali cuisine shares roots with West Bengal India but has distinct Muslim food traditions. The a Dhaka riverside fish restaurant atmosphere was pleasant enough. hot sweet tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Pitha this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
