Honest verdict on Mishti Doi — good but not exceptional

Mishti Doi here was solidly made — fresh and fishy without anything to complain about. hilsa fish was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Bengali cuisine shares roots with West Bengal India but has distinct Muslim food traditions. The a family Friday hilsa lunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. aam panna green mango drink was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Mishti Doi this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
