Best Bhuna Khichuri I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Bhuna Khichuri at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The spicy and tangy quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. panch phoron five-spice is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a traditional Bengali home cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. aam panna green mango drink was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Bengali cuisine shares roots with West Bengal India but has distinct Muslim food traditions. Would return for this dish alone.
