Decent Pakhlava — nothing more, nothing less
Pakhlava at this place was fine. The sweet-sour from fruit flavour was there but not distinguished. pomegranate was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
Azerbaijani cuisine reflects Turkic, Persian, and Caucasian influences meeting at a historical crossroads. The a traditional Azerbaijani home dinner setting was generic rather than immersive. sherbet fruit drink was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Pakhlava it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
