Honest verdict on Dovga — good but not exceptional

Dovga here was solidly made — richly layered without anything to complain about. chess herbs (dill, parsley, tarragon, mint) was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

tea drinking is a ritual — black tea served in armudu pear-shaped glasses accompanies every social encounter. The a wedding feast atmosphere was pleasant enough. Xirdalan beer was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Dovga this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
