Honest verdict on Vegemite Toast — good but not exceptional

Vegemite Toast here was solidly made — fresh and light without anything to complain about. barramundi was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

bush tucker movement incorporates indigenous ingredients like wattleseed and lemon myrtle into modern cooking. The a Melbourne brunch café atmosphere was pleasant enough. Tim Tam with tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Vegemite Toast this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
