Finding the best Tim Tam in the city — a personal search

I spent three months trying every version of Tim Tam I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled Anzac oats with genuine knowledge and the clean and straightforward result was noticeably superior.

Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The winning restaurant had the right a backyard barbie feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. Tim Tam with tea was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Tim Tam is made properly it's a completely different experience.
