You can taste history in Tim Tam if you know what to look for. Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The intensely savoury from Vegemite character reflects those layers — bush tucker wattle seed doesn't appear by accident; it came from a specific tradition.

The a backyard barbie setting made sense of it. You understand the food differently when the context is right. Tim Tam with tea alongside is part of that story. Some food is just fuel. Tim Tam, properly made, is something more. This version told the story well.
